Stripe Tax helps businesses calculate, collect, and report tax on transactions worldwide with a single integration. The challenge is clear: businesses need to collect taxes in more than 130 countries and most US states, with constantly changing rules and rates that vary based on what and where they sell.

We are building Stripe Tax to handle this complexity automatically. The product provides precise location detection, supports over 600 product tax categories, validates tax IDs, and handles everything from automated calculations to reporting - all through a simple API or dashboard interface.

Working closely with our tax experts and engineering teams, I am helping design interfaces that make complex tax compliance feel simple and intuitive. This includes designing the tax registration flow, threshold monitoring dashboards, and automated filing experiences.
